Mentors, intro

by Nadia

As I was reflecting on my journey I realized that, since early childhood, I have always been supported in my growth by beings, alive or from other realms, So I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to my mentors over the years by writing a series of posts about them and what they brought to my life. I hope that it will also help you identify your own helpers, as it can be pretty uplifting to become aware of all the support we have and sometimes don't see.

This series is about the teachers who have inspired me, been benevolent and through their words, teachings or actions have been an invaluable part of my awakening. They are my role models.

Of course I also acknowledge that every person we meet enters our life for a reason and has the possibility to become one of our teachers if we are willing to learn the lessons they bring to us. Those teachers though I do not see as mentors but more as brothers and sisters on the path with whom we are inter-connected in ways that we may not fully understand, especially when their presence in our life can be seen as traumatic. I am in the end grateful for all those encounters too, but for now I'd like to show my gratitude to those special beings who have shaped me with their loving ways.

These posts are written by chronological order of when a particular mentor entered my life. I hope you enjoy.
